This church was a replacement to an old church in 1450 and made from stone and wood and was created as a dedication to St. Michael. It has a square tower that includes a ring of eight bells and is perpendicular in style. It has a rood screen and the pieces of furniture are as old as its restoration dates. In 1928, a Lady Chapel was constructed as an additional structure. There is also a monument dedicated to the men who lost their lives at the Battle of Bosenden Wood which was said to be the last armed uprising in England.
